The Seven Artifacts (from Facebook app)

I wonder why the small maps don't match the locations where those items are allegedly found. Mistake or hint?

I noticed that too, NoXWord. Perhaps a hint, perhaps a mistake by the art grunt that made those animated gifs. It is curious that they all appear to be wrong.

I can't help but think that the seven tablets might represent the seven services that Weyland provides (terraforming, energy, health, security, transportation, electronics, cybernetics). Perhaps seven forms of technology stolen from the Gods? I'm sure the Mayan tablet would represent transportation. Sumerian would probably be security ("code of law"). Hittite might be energy (best I can find is a bunch of lamp holders). The others I haven't bothered searching for (or found) yet. Probably wasting my time but it beats having a life.

Thanks and as for commenting...the way I see it is this..each tablet is depicting the EXACT SAME THING !!! This is ALL we can deduce from them.

I don't know if you guys are already aware of this, but the Mayan star map is based off a real artifact: http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/2/29/Pacal_the_Great_tomb_lid.svg They got the location wrong though.
