I can see a Xenomorph

@belladonna I guess I'm just late in joining in. It's strange though, I love the alien films and the art behind it but I've only just recently realised Prometheus is a potential prequel to Alien. I had heard of it's name "Prometheus" but I just assumed that a film called Prometheus would just be another shit film inspired by mythology like Wrath of the Titans lol. I'm now obsessed with it and can't wait to see it haha! @Snorkelbottom Assuming you're not being sarcastic... You can see the Alien shaped thing in a sort of arms spread, [i]Jesus on the cross[/i] pose.

yeah, its been talked through, but youre right, it certainly looks like one, or something closely related to one. weird that they would leak that image. wondering if when shaw looks up at the mural of the guy and some strange alien thing attached at the arm and head, if the mural changes to the image that looks so much like a xeno. we do see a scene where the ceiling is shifting and they say "its changing".

Yeah i think its been discussed many times. It is a interesting image though, again this movie has its screens and trailers all mish mashed and you dont really know which scene joins what.... Not saying this is the case, but if this Mural is formed on the fly from the Walls, where in one Trailer you can see what apears to be the Ceiling moving and changing (where in the movie Vickers says Changing into what). Now we never knew what untill recently when this image was posted and dissected by us all on here. Ridley has said we will not see any Xenos in this movie and by that i think he means we will not see these guys.. We may even see Creatures that bare more resemblence to this than a Xeno. I think When Ridley said we will see Alien DNA at the end of the film, and we would see a direct link to Alien at the end of the movie. (Ridley did say that Alien Fanboys will get their wish). I assume we will see at the end of the movie or in the last 8 mins, maybe either the Eggs or how they came to be, or maybe some Organism that we would be able to draw a direct link to the Xeno either due to its look or familarty because of its actions. Will we see the Xeno as in fully grown two rows of teeth creature... i doubt it, will we see a Proto Organism that would in last few minutes explain how they came to be or even see Eggs.... I would say yes.

looking at that picture the last one,i believe this experiment or organism to take on parts of the DNA OF THE host.Now see that last picture looks like the host from the aliens DNA that own the ship mixed with human Dna, where as the xenomorphs we've come use to seeing are full human hosts DNA, i believe they take the intelligence from the host as well as you see in aliens when they cut the power.

I think that RS might have referred to the full grown monster from alien when he said no xeno, but that might not include the "Flying Vaginas"

I'm leaning towards the latter. I would prefer that the Eggs (and xeno) have an origin long, long past. If in fact, however, the xeno's origin is a direct result of the actions of the Prometheus crew then, although dissapointed, I'll get over it.

I'll add to the fun since I love the mural so much. It's not the one in the post 'BigDave' made unless THAT one actually changes into the one with the xenomorph. The one with the Xenomorph is very detailed and if you look you will see it has the whole lifecycle of the alien. There's an egg with the facehugger above it, a fully matured Xenomorph, and what appear to be a pair of humanoid eyes - one on each side of the aliens head making it's head a nose for the eyes. It's VERY cool.

Thats what i was thinking. the movie might start the evolution of a creature that eventualy becomes the xenomorph we all know and love. An alien takes on some of the DNA trates of its host. for all we know the xeno might have started out as something completley diffrent and as a result of blending with humans in Prometheus it becomes what it is in Alien. but that dose not explain the xenomorph on the wall in the prometheus trailer like a sore thumb. How can it be there if it dosent exist yet? I know its odd and im contridicting myself but i just thougt i entertain the thought and maby leave you guys with something to speculate on. I think its a nice theory.

Also the pictures BigDave posted, one of them is like a figurine of a creature that has a few alien trates, notice the blue vains on it, in one of the trailers the one wcich starts with ''evry king has its regin'' shows a ''voldemort looking'' guy with the same veins. In another trailer we see the female lead looking trough a window in a door from the other side, thers some sludge on the dorr and a fleshy mass, like a tail, of the same colour as the creature hits the door.
