Big Storm

Ya I noticed that too. I thought it could have been from SJ's aircraft blowing up debris. It's plausible the rockets or exaust are causing the dust storm. I also thought it could have been some sort of emergency back up the SJ's have in order to get away from whatever threat it encounters ie. humans. Based on what little we know your thoughts may be right aswell. Dust storm, extreme force and cloud movement may be impossible with out a little help from above.

@Bioshock I think the dust storm is not exhaust from the "derelict". It comes from the temple. It looks more & more likely that the PROMETHEUS temple is based on Giger's unused Dune design where his notes says something about a temple that expels, get this, bones & excrements. The dust storm if you see the close-up from the recent featurette (around the time when Shaw says : "Go faster!!!") is made up of small debris & particulate, some says they are even biologicals. It is the Wrath of God driving the pesky little humans away.

It looks too big to be exhaust debris looks more likely a storm. May i theorise that this film potentially deals with terraforming planets. This storm might be a result from this terraforming process
