Vickers / David

1. The shot in the hall with blue lighting where we come around the corner and Vickers is standing there matches up with:
2. A shot in a hall with blue lighting where it looks like Vickers is holding David, maybe slamming him against a wall?
I think there are 2 ships, the Prometheus and a 2nd Wayland ship, or else I don't get the chronology. But why would Vickers be fighting David?

Well David is upto something that goes against Vickers Agenda or Mission or Interests.
Or maybe the interests of the crew, that would imply that Vickers cares about the well being and safety of the crew over what ever Agenda/Purpose she and the Corp she is working for has.

or maybe she disables him on the sly so that she can bug his sensors and see and hear what he sees and hears.
She really seems to HATE him though.
Safe? Of course he isn't safe, but he's good!

Having seen Vicker's reaction (or lack of one) to the exploding alien head in the lab, I'm convinced she is the second android alluded to by Ridley in an interview (either that or she's a psychopath).
Assuming she's not a Tyrell Corp. Replicant (ha ha), that doesn't know what she is, her agenda must be a Corporate one (perhaps one of the Weyland Shareholders).
Her agenda appears to include "crew survival". David's agenda doesn't prioritize this.
David brings alien goo onto Prometheus. Vickers appears to play Ripley from Alien when she tries to enforce decontamination procedures on crew bringing infected crew back to the ship.
Looks like she loses - as did Ripley. I wonder whether she's the sole survivor?

Wasn't there a shot in one of the trailers where David is seated talking to Weyland and someone else in a white room when Shaw stumbles and falls into the room?
It would be cool if someone could splice all the footage together from the various trailers....

@beyond
I just went through that moment in the trailer a couple of times. Vickers is visibly but subtly startled when the head explodes. It's the kind of reaction someone has when they are so startled they panic and freeze up, but their face just goes blank after they flinch.
Safe? Of course he isn't safe, but he's good!

I've been back and forth on this...I am under the impression that she may be an android, i admit the push ups made me think otherwise- but Ash did that running in place thingy in ALIEN, so I dont know...
but the way she is man handling David in the hallway looks suspish...but her stance against everything otherworldly makes her appear heroic not deviant-
maybe she is under the orders of the long since deceased Weyland who already knows all about these creatures since he stole their techno way back in the day...
maybe he is the inferred greek prometheus who stole the fire....idk, idk idk
this movie is going to deliver...I dont know how many times I am going to see it in theatre

@Myrddin365
Well, she's one controlled unit if that's the extent of her natural reaction. But not beyond the realm of possibility.
I wonder what she looks like when she spills the milk!
The trailers are so amazing, I can't wait to see the full 119 minutes of the film!

I've actually seen that reaction in my kids and they are terrified, too terrified to show it.
Safe? Of course he isn't safe, but he's good!

@beyondthebloodplain - i agree re the reaction to the exploding head - i.e., no reaction at all. But, maybe she doesn't know she's a replicant. Also, her objective may not be to safeguard the crew, maybe just Weyland.

Vickers is really cold.
Whatever her motives , she is hiding it well.
Remember some humans can be really cold and calculating .
No expressions, just plain and calm.
I feel a cold ,cunning human is more creepy and frightening than an emotionless android.
Lets just hope they don't make Vickers so simple telling she too is just an android.

When i saw the shot with Vickers escaping in this emergency shuttle, i wondered if we can make an hypothesis related to the Special Order 937 in the movie from 1979.
Remember the Ash words in front of Ripley :
"Special Order 937 in essence asked me to direct the ship to the planet, investigate a life form, possibly hostile and bring it back for observation. With
discretion, of course.".
If Vickers is a Weyland or Yutani synthetic, may be she (or someone else) returns to earth and give all the data to "the Company", preparing other trips in the future an the Nostromo one 30 years later, a trip to LV-426 (discovered on May 14 2039 by Weyland company).
It is just an idea but a possible strong link with the 1979 script.
