30 days to go for me....

Damn it! Why is it coming out on June 8th in North America? I'm going dark a couple of weeks before it is released. I don't want it to be spoiled for me.

@BigDave Im so hyped for you fellow crew members across the pond. You'll have to give me a play by play after you see it and get settled. I dont care if i get the whole movie spoiled, the glory for me is "seeing" RS' new masterpiece.

Well i am sure you can get to a early showing on the 7th. Yes its a bummer, but its not often that a movie is released outside the US first. I hope the europeans give some respect with regards to spoilers.... I remember vistiting a The Thing prequel website like this and the Face Book Page, and the movie was shown in the USA like 10 weeks before it hit the UK and on those pages there was a lot of people posting Spoilers etc. I wont do that, i think i spend too long on here anyway and may myself go dark for a few weeks near when the movie is out. I have already seen one image today that has gave away a massive part of the movie for a massive cast member.... I have no regrets talking about the theories and Trailers but that one image, that i have not seen in the Trailers well i wish i never saw it. Been the biggest spoiler for me. hopefully most wont know what i am talking about its best you dont ;)

@Galzu i would not spoil it evern if i had seen it, if i had say a pre copy now and had seen the movie before it hits the big screen i would not spoil it. When i see it all i would give away is. 1) How i feel the movie did. 2) If i think it gave good links to Alien or mentioned little but then i wont give details, just "yeah you get to see a definate link to Alien" or "well we dont get no where near the answers to Alien as i was hopping" 3) My view on if this movie would go down great with Alien fan boys and make them happy (but not say why). 4) If i feel the movie fits in and adds to the Alien Universe, or if and how far it seems to be going in seperate direction. I am going to see it twice, the guys i am going with want to see the 3D version, now 3D Tech dont sit well with me, as my eyes have a funny reaction time. With old CRTs if i chew i used to see the flicker/wavey effect you used to get when you view them through a camera. I tend to pick up blurs in movies more than other people, and 3D movies (i got 3D TV 55" Sony Top range) but they effect is not so great for me is see lots of double vission that others say they cant see nowt. Then again i am a bit deaf but can hear low pitch noises that drives me mad that others cant hear lol. Anway so i would be watching it at Showcase at Midnight 31st and again i will go to watch the movie sometime over the next 10 days after that but in none 3D. Now its very very rare i would watch a movie at pictures twice, but i wil with this one, not only because its gonna be good, but i feel the stroy will have twists and like watching Total Recall, Lost and the like its a movie that when you see it the 2nd time its starts to make more sence and you can notice stuff you may miss first time around.
