Biblical Metaphor for DAVID

I was pondering this today - what if that tale is a metaphor for the basis of David's purpose in Prometheus? Ridley Scott does everything for a reason, and with all the forethought that has gone into the Prometheus marketing campaign, we really must not overlook any minute detail.
A theory was posted here a while ago about David creating the Alien. My guess is that this is exactly what happens.
Story of David and Goliath - David was smaller, not as strong, but was smarter and used a weapon to take down the giant.(in this case the Engineers perhaps?) It's a simple tale, but does kind of make sense when we associate it to Prometheus and the footage we've seen so far.
Just re-introducing an already conceived theory, but with a different approach to validating it. Feel free to post your ideas below and share your opinions!
