When Prometheus is landing we can see at least four domes on the ground. Presumably Prometheus crew visits first of them, which contains hidden derelict ship. Are there more ships in other domes then? If yes, is the whole planet some kind of base and why would Engineers/SJs leave clues on Earth that lead to this place? Could humans come across other races that came to this place for similar reasons? What do you think?

I do believe there's domes all over the place on that planet, at least within the valley they land in. It appears also there are Nazca-type lines directing them to the first temple. Help me out here, am I wrong, guys? What is in, or even if we ever see, the other domes is anyone's guess.

What is weird is, that world lacks any kind of orbital defense ring (or something like it). It seems defenseless. If Prometheus was a military ship, it could destroy the entire place "from orbit". What again makes me think that this world isn´t a "base". Of course, the "defenseless" appearence would be in accordance with that one should expect of...a trap. However, I really think the story will be very different from these options.
