Kubrick in Prometheus

Hello everyone, I've loved reading through the forum the last few days as momentum builds towards the opening. I've been an Alien fan since drooling over my Starlog magazine articles on the movie as a 10 year old. Watching the featurette, I was jolted a bit when I saw the scene with David by the pool table talking to Holloway with the small Christmas tree in the background. This looked to me to be a direct quote from Eyes Wide Shut. Not having seen the movie yet I am just guessing as to the tone of the scene and the motivations of the characters, but David would then be a stand-in for Zeigler, mouthpiece for the Powers That Be, and Holloway would correspond to Dr Bill, seeker of forbidden knowledge. Kubrick has loomed over Scott in the past, and maybe this is a sign that Scott has become more comfortable with their relationship. Another obvious reference to Kubrick might be David from the Kubrick project A.I. The android longing to be human. Any others? After the film is released there may be some more.
