MemberOvomorphMay 10, 20121405 Views17 RepliesThe Space Tapir plot on another topic made me think about something I've always had on the back of my mind and that emerged right now.
A line in "Lucky number Slevin" recites:
"A Kansas City Shuffle is when everybody looks right, you go left."
When the first trailer came out (last December), everybody's eyes were naturally drawn to the mysterious blue guy to the right in the raising chair shot.
As far as I know (but I might be wrong), nobody ever focused on the left side of the chair. There we can see a glimpse of the blue space suit that much havoc has caused in the past weeks.
Of course it is easy to spot it now, in hindsight, but I wonder if it was made on purpose, a masteful misdirection, knowing that everybody was going to look to the right (or to the lush animation of the chair's mechanisms in my case), or just a coincidence.
