Prometheus Soundtrack Track Listings **SPOILERS**

Wait a week before the UK release.

I wonder if the Hammerpede is the creature that wraps around Milburn's arm. There's a real world animal called the hammer worm that it very much resembles. I also think the tracks are not necessarily listed in chronological order.

Hammerpede may be the new alien, it sounds like a centipede with hammer legs?

Oh shyt! HAMMERPEDE!?!? I seriously can't wait another four weeks, I'm going bonkers as it is...

And by the way the track 3 is called "Engineer" and the number 20 is called Space Jockey!!! My big question is: is an engineer with his suit on? or Are they different species? Well, we still have 28 days to find out...

I think the hammerpede is the alien Shaw gives birth to.... Life would be the Space Cobra.

...actually y'all are probably right looking at the linear track listing. hamerpede probably IS the Space Cobra!

Track titles seem to follow the scenes we see in the trailers quite tightly....i think they've given away the story in the trailers and that not many surprises are left.

This hasn't spoiled anything, it's made things more intriguing. Roll on June One.

I was eagerly anticipating this moment! It´s seductive to compare the final acts with "2001", but I also think that the soundtrack isn´t in chronological order. I feel vindicated by the Hammerpede, because I ever tought of that creature more as an worm than a reptile. My takes: "hypersleep" must be the musical theme of the first scenes when David wakes the tripulation on arrival; "invitation" is most probably the musical theme for the post-hypersleep briefing when Halloway and Shaw shows the ancient relics to the crew and explain their theory about ancient alien presence on Earth; "weyland" must be the scene where an holographic Weyland appears in the beggining of the film and communicates his "vision"; "going in" must be when the crew enters the temple by the first time; "hammerpede" must be the former space cobra attack on Milburn; "hello mommy" must be the confrontation between Shaw and the thing that is extracted from her belly; "collision" and "debris" are obvious. The positioning in the last positions of the track list gives one pause about the theory that the themes are not chronologicaly arranged...

Wow, now this is interesting. It's Hammer Time..... Hammerpede... If correct, then no longer Cobra-Hugger. I didn't like Cobra Hugger so much. Then you have "Hello Mommy" followed by "Friend from the Past". I am thinking the friend is "Prometheus". Is the friend/Prometheus = Weyland showing up as Shaw collapses after the c-Section or the Engineer who stole fire and gave it to us. Planting, invitation, and birth sounds eerily like an Alien face hugger style attack. It could be on an Engineer to satisfy the Sacrificial Engineer role noted in the credits.

I'm not sure that hammerpede translates to Space Cobra/Face Burster. The "pede" part means "foot" so a centipede means one hundred feet. Hammerpede suggests a "hammer - foot". Granted the space cobra's head does look a little like a hammer.
