Hammerpede NOT organic!

I sincerely believe that the creature(s) thus far shown are not "Hammerpede". I don't even see the semblance between the 'cobra alien' and a hammer. It looks like a protoform Face Hugger, if anything. And, as stated by several others, pede is to suggest pedalism and this creature doesn't appear to have feet, or even a series of tentacles such as to be cephalopoidic. Also, I noticed that when the creature appears and strikes that it changed color and texture once it hit (whatever it hit in the preview) to a gun metal biomechanoid look as if it were absorbing some trait or reconfiguring itself.

This will probably be of no help whatsoever, (and correct me if I'm wrong!) I believe Ridley did say that there were to be 4 stages of development to this creature/xeno.
