ITS ALL IN THE HELMET

Strange comment given the depth of the Prometheus story; suggesting that a mere helmet would be relevant?
I have a theory. There has always been various ideas on the design of the Xeno's head; smooth carapace no eyes etc. In Alien, the original Xeno's carapace was slightly translucent, skull like eye sockets could be made out beneath.
In the Prometheus trailer there is a scene where the helmet visor melts over the face of an unfortunate crew member. Could it be possible that that is is what RS meant when he mentioned the relevance of the helmet. During the infection/ mutation the human fuses with the suit? The visor becoming the familiar smooth carapace?
What do you think?
