After lots of hours of translating and editing, http://www.prometheusforum.net/ member Mr White25 and i have finished translating the French SFX scans. Some very interesting information about the SJ in here. Not to mention.. "The costume had magnetic holes on which you could attach removable elements for a scene which I cannot speak about." "We created a significant aging of one of the characters...the actor was chosen five weeks before shooting."

I always assumed they were going to go with CG overlays for the biomechanical features of the SJs.......was really surprised to learn that they apparently went with rather complicated prosthetics. I'm [i]very[/i] curious to see how they made that work to produce a biomechanics in motion effect.

Thanks for taking the time to do that, very interesting. I was dismayed to read that they are changing the design of Giger's stuff for no apparent reason though... from organic bone-like designs to more mechanical structures - just for the sake of changing it. I hate that shit.
