Is there a particular piece that LEAPS out at you (excuse the dodgy pun)? Is there a particular moment that sticks in your mind because of the score? Do you feel that there were particular scores which were more lacking than others?
I really just want to hear people's opinions on the scores of the original films... I can't wait to hear the score for Prometheus on the big screen!

MemberOvomorphMay-15-2012 12:16 PMSince I'm already numbed by all scores avaiable, I really don't see much of a novelty there. Same-old same-old...
I would be rather entertained to listen to a hole "castanholas" soundtrack for Prometheus.
NOW THAT WOULD BE INTERESTING!

MemberOvomorphMay-15-2012 8:31 PMI really liked the score in Alien Resurrection, It's not my favorite but it supports this IMO average film and makes it a little better. A good score can make a lot of difference.

MemberOvomorphMay-16-2012 2:27 PMI think out of the two later films, my favourite is probably the Alien 3 score Merc - there's something beautifully tragic about it (;

MemberOvomorphMay-18-2012 2:11 PMI really feel the beginning score in Alien captured the coldness & isolation of space very well...
