Ok, lets have a change of topic away from plot scrutiny for a short while. Here are my 3:
- All androids (Ash, Bishop, David) are male - is there a female companion model ? What should she look like ?
- What do the engineers and space jockey eat (assuming they are 2 separate entities) ? (I hope its not hammerpedes !)
- Why is is that in the future, where we have interstellar travel, pulse rifles, lasers etc, you need a good old axe to get any job done i.e. killing aliens ?
Feel free to post your questions & answers

1. There are female models. You might consider Call in Alien Resurrection ALTHOUGH she was not an android but a creation of androids/robots/machines (syvanna knows the name).
2. They eat square looking green biscuits like in Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy. Ford Prefect: "Hey, hagro-biscuit. The greatest. You'll love these guys. They cook the hoopiest frood food in the whole of the west galaxy. Go on, have a bite. Go on, go on, go on, try it. Your mouth will love you for the rest of your life."
3. Nope. Nothing at all.

The only question to be answered, which is the central theme to the entire movie franchise:
How and what did the company know of the specimen before it sent the Nostromo to go get it?
If this question is never answered the entire purpose of Alien is meaningless. The central theme to all the movies is the company wanting a xeno, which it never got.

OK, I'll bite:
Why would the Colonial Marine Corp assign androids to combat teams that are pacifists? You have these super smart, super fast, completely amoral, and eminently expendable tools. Wouldn't they make the perfect frontline troops?
I can't see any reason why you would not just send down a squad of combat droids with a human CO in orbit overseeing their actions. Androids would be able to keep their cool under fire and could be programmed to be orders of magnitude smarter and more capable than the hapless grunts we saw in Aliens. It just doesn't make a lick of sense to send humans in to do dangerous work when you can do it safer, easier, and cheaper with robots.

Ok, my 3 questions:
1) How exactly did the Company know what was on LV-426? Even if they had intercepted the transmission before the Nostromo did (in order to re-route the vessel via ship's computer), how much could the transmission have contained about the Alien, its morphology, its possible military application, etc. etc.? I'd like to see at least a clearer idea of how it all might have eventually gone down, or of the events that led eventually to it all going down... but I suspect we won't, because if Weyland-Yutani somehow found out about the things on LV-426 due to events in Prometheus, I don't think it would have taken 30 years of waiting and hoping that a spaceship was going to conveniently be in the area in order for them to get a specimen... not to mention that they somehow forgot about the ship on LV-426 by the time Aliens took place (?)
2. Who put Jones the cat in that locker, and why? Even if he got into the locker on his own, remember that the door was closed. My cats get into lots of stuff, but it's stuff that they can also get out of. And they're not really good at closing doors behind them. Even if Jones was sleeping in the locker, and someone inadvertently closed the door on him, r the door closed on its own somehow, why didn't he start crying and yelling once he was locked in? Or was he deliberately put in there by Ash, as yet another distraction for the crew to waste time on, giving the chestburster time to grow to maturity?
3. How did that egg get on board the Sulac - no, no... I won't do it.

Yes Arrgy, I too look forward to that question being answered.
"How and what did the company know of the specimen before it sent the Nostromo to go get it?"

@John D., haha, How Jones stowed away on Nostronomo is likely to not be answered in this flick indeed. I just assume that Lambert (The squealing frantic chick) snuck the cat onbard the mining ship because she didn't have any family or friends back home to feed him. She totally fits the psycholocial profile of a cat-lady. It is cool that the cat was there though, added a profound dynamic to Ripley's character in the end.

What does the transmission from lv426 actually say?
How intelligent are the Xenos?
If they were created, how are they used?
Safe? Of course he isn't safe, but he's good!

they use to scare people

Most of these are related to Prometheus. There's nothing to question, really. Except the Xenomorphs...
Origin,purpose. Done.

Shambhala, funny picture although, I would probably be moving pretty quickly about that time.
My Three (cents) Questions:
1. How do the eggs came about in Alien?
2. What is the Juggerbutt is all about? a weapon? an egg pooper? a living being? a living biofactory? a very crash prone space ship?
3. If we purposefully (or mistakenly) create the Alien (or cuddles) with stolen tech to fight the Engineers. Fight Fire with Fire, so to speak.
