Is it time to stop the speculation?

Um....... Not gonna happen I'm afraid...............

Nope.

Some people only see what they want to see, others don't see what's in front of them and the rest (like me) see whats being shown to us. Because of this, and the various degrees of fandom among the members here and their personalities, there will always be speculation, both before and after any new film is released with this, and any other franchise.

Like a 10 hour car ride without bathroom breaks.

And what's the bet we'll also get a lot of "Well I would have done THIS, THIS and THIS instead of *insert scene here* after it's actually out..................

And brown nosers saying Ridley was a genius and Prometheus is perfect, Naysayers saying it was crap and pretentious, and nitpickers picking fault with how it didn't turn out the way they thought it would. If you think the speculation is rife now, comeback in a few weeks... it'll be chaos, trust me.

speculations will be racing through my mind untill the credits roll then maybe afterwards, that is what is so amazing about the movie it is up there with star wars sure after it's over there will be people saying how disappointed they are but deep down I think most of the people who watch it will know it was atleast a good movie i felt like I was the only person I knew looking forward to this film but then I saw all this online reaction and its amazing how much it means to so many people so I think speculation will not stop even after the credits we are going to be given a whole universe to digest for a few more years

I've figured everything out so yeah...time to stop,......you guys go on ahead, s'ok....

Forever War... I really doubt it. I know you are just kidding but... You are wrong. You are SO wrong. People think they have alot of the sequence of the movie figured out already, from trailers, clips, cast and production lists, set photos, audio puzzles, and of course the newly released soundtrack of Prometheus... ...AND YET... I still think Milburn & Fifield are attacked/killed/mutated on the first trip not the second. The Space Jockey head is recovered after the second trip and not the first trip to the temple. If I'm right it mean others are not. We will soon see who was wrong... who was SO wrong.

I tend to look at things sideways, upside down, at a molecular level, and finally at an "open to the world" kind of, sort of, neat as a cutie kitten kind of way. But that's just me.

The truth and fact of the matter is that nobody is going anywhere....with Ridley already expressing interest in further sci fi films, not to mention Prometheus itself raises new mysteries...we're all going to be guessing for quite a spell, hopefully years.
