MemberDeaconMay-16-2012 9:09 AMpede = legs... hence Centipede means 100 legs...
I guess Hammer could be because of how its Head Looks?
To me i would not described it as such...
It looks more like a serpent to me, so Xenocrobra could work but then i dont think Ridley wanted to connect Xeno to anything hence not use that name.
We dont know yet if its called a Hammerpede....
Then again did Face Hugger get a propper name? Just called that because of what it does....
There for Throatsnake would sounded better lol...

MemberOvomorphMay-16-2012 10:13 AMI think Xeno-cobra sounds stupid... I think we can also rule out anything with hugger in it, as from the new tv spot there is no hugging... Just a whole lot of forced oral entry!
NASTY!!

MemberOvomorphMay-16-2012 10:39 AMHahaha ShinobiX9X, deep hugger is a good one.
I suggest "tonsil hugger".

MemberTrilobiteMay-16-2012 10:48 AMWell...
- Cobralien - Close with the hood, but the head is more leech-like, so no.
- Hammerpede - Not hammer shaped and has no (as I can see) legs, so no.
- Cobrahugger - it doesn't hug its victims so again no.
Leech - Snake - Eel - White...
Collating...
Whitesnake... no...
Collating...
Deepthroat... no...

- Parasite - Leech - Worm - Alien -

MemberOvomorphMay-16-2012 3:19 PMNo, I'd be willing to wager that we have not seen the hammerpede.
