Um, I hate to state the obvious, but why would it be a pitch to Yutani when she clearly addresses it to 'Mr. Weyland'? Unless there's another Mr. Weyland who also happens to be the head of Yutani, as opposed to the Mr. Weyland who's head of Weyland? (note a hint of sarcasm please)

@orangecat: i didn't catch the Weyland part. thanx for the clarification edit: yep my internet kept freezing the video, she clearly says "Weyland" at the beginning. so in this case, perhaps it is Yutani spying on Weyland then(?)

I think she's a Yutani employee and wants to jump ship to Weyland Industries to travel with them during the events of Prometheus. The reason she keeps having to send this video everyday is to convince her to come aboard and be apart of their team

At 0:20, just to the right of the Yutani "Y" logo, it says Yutani Polygraph Technologies etc., then Lic. Weyland Corp., User ID P Weyland. I think that implies that there is already some business relationship between the two companies, in that Weyland uses the Yutani polygraph tech. I think they're fleshing out Weyland Corp.

I think they must produce this stuff mostly for dweebs like us who are already going to see it, anyway. Yes, it adds depth to the story, but ya do have to get your geek on to [i]really[/i] appreciate it.

What the - ? How the Hell are you all even getting to any of this? It's a "pitch to Yutani"? Then, "she's a Yutani employee"? Then it's Yutani spying on Weyland [via a file with a Weyland Intertitle?...] I don't see this need for conspiracy under [i]every[/i] single stone? It's a viral. She's obviously calling Weyland - and what she says fits what we understand of the Plot. So, we see that Weyland has some Yutani analysis software on his device, so [i]what?[/i] Weyland Industries can't be good at [i]everything,[/i] that would be impossible and, importantly, implausible. Apple Computers are not in the vacuum manufacture business - so, perhaps they vacuum their floors with a Dyson? As they don't make vacuums, maybe they choose to use the coolest and most well-designed one that someone [i]else[/i] makes? Maybe, at some time in the future, they'll decide they want to get into the vacuum business and so, for that, or for one of a million other interesting reasons or another, they buy, or merge with Dyson? If that were to happen, it wouldn't mean every time they previously vacuumed the floors at Apple HQ with a Dyson, there was some secret Dyson plot cooking or that the Apple employee pushing it was a Dyson spy?.... For God's sake. From a Story point of view, the Authors have to begin feeding the Yutani thread into the backstory somehow, little by little - because at some point, we, as the audience [i]already[/i] know that some company callled Yutani will turn out to be significant, in the future. That's all I think this is - feeding in the Yutani thread, little by little: and I think it's a Masterclass.

Yea it just Yutani software that Weyland is using, people are looking into every single thing to much.

Exactly. I think all this does is bring the Yutani name back into the story; showing us that they exist, and at this point, nothing more.
