Lol, "Prometheus Landing". Low quality but some new things I haven't seen before. I thought 1:21 to about 1:24 were especially interesting in the first video, :51-:59 on the third video as well as a little more of the sandstorm.

Oh man, how much more stuff do we really need to see, and how cheecky is that new fashion to release clips in low quality in Russia/India (no offense to those countries), and then a week or so later in Europe/US?? This is starting to piss me off seriously!!! Anyone else think enough is enough and bring on that movie already?? FFS!

Spoilertown: Amongst other things ... we get to see Charlie Holloway take off his helmet. Duh, where I come from we call this leading with the chin. You cannot make chicken soup with chicken shit. All this footage don't bother me one lick. FOX has shown us ...what...20 minutes max of footage. That leaves us with 100+ minutes of visionary sci-fi. Sign me up. I'm in!!!!! Excited

I mean really, have you EVER seen or known THIS much about a movie before its release?? The list is endless by now: -we know almost all characters and at least of two how them actually die -we've seen presumably most of the alien creatures in their different stages -we've seen their temples/structures inside/outside -we've seen the spaceship inside/outside, know how many bloody escape pods it has! ....... OK I could continue here, but can't be bothered right now... just needed to vent it out, can't help it but being really upset. See you later guys, need to chill out seriously. Damn FOX for seriously ruining this for me!

You don't know anything. What you know is endless speculation on this site. We've not seen anything that REALLY spells this movie out. Just a lot of guess work. It's gonna kick ass.

Ender, you know it's funny that I said almost the opposite on a different thread ealier today, but I guess this one is somehow all I needed to finally having melt down some of my essential circuits and modules! It's like you're away from the net for let's say 6-7 hours or so, then in about 1-2 hours you just managed to catch up with what happened. And then, when you're just about to leave, BANG another projectile coming in at low angle! 3 more vids, a poster, a featurette, an online game, updated viral pages, a f***ing beermat! Yay! Jesus Christ, I'm 41 years old, have seen many movies and their campaigns... THIS never happened before, not that I can remember it. And it HAS TO BE exactly the one movie that I've been waiting for since about 25 years or so!!! Great. Hal, I genuinely do have faith that nothing has been spoiled but there is no need for the constant titbits. Like fine, I'm sure when the plot is revealed it will be a complete surprise but all these beautiful shots that we've been shown, they all sadly enough, will have lost some of their impact because we've been watching them constantly for 6 months! Particularly the shot where Milburn gets attacked in-helmet, that really should have been kept for the night. I too feel that there has never been so much footage release of an upcoming movie but then again I have never followed a movie's release so closely!

@Hal9000...i've never really cared to know this much about a film before i saw it. i think the most excited ive been for a movie to come out since this was transformers (that was my thing as a kid, that and TMNT), hoping it would stick to the old story line, but was MASSIVELY dissapointed with that.

@arnis: Just to clarify in case it didn't come out well in my previous comment. I have avoided inofficial stuff pretty much consequently right from the start and tried to stick as close as possible to official material and I was blown away by the viral campaign, which I still believe is fantastic. Well, at least the 3 clips we have are. When I read somwhere today that 'Quiet Eye' would be the final one I was like yaayyy, it stops! Next thing I know is they're pouring it all over the place again, is no one pissed off by that?? All those specualtion threads I have been avoiding, simply because it's a waste of time, at least for my part in reading them. No one can possibly know what will happen in the film, but I'm pretty sure that for most parts of the first 30 min or so we will all feel pretty much 'at home', and that's what I'd hate to experience. Oh well, too late for that now.

@Ender: I hope you're right there, I really wish the remaining 109 or so minutes will make up big time for what has been already spoiled for me. I'm so fanatic about spacecraft, and I'm disappointed to know so much about the Prometheus. How amazing would it have been to see the ship for the first time in that long distance shot in outer space, then slowly closing in for entry and landing sequence! That is gone for sure now... makes me real sad. So obviously it will be the plot holding all the surprises, but I feel like for the 'hardware geeks' amongst us, there won't be too many things left to uncover. If there'll be a prequel I have learned my lesson and will stay WELL AWAY from it! But of course, I also agree to what others said here before, I have never been focused this much on a movie before release in my life, that's certainly true.

.....i wish i could stop this as well....but every clip, picture, trailer, featurette and viral video..i just gobble them up!!....i'm like an addict who tries to stop...but i just cannot....stop feeding me fox!..8)

@ Hal, meant to say that to you earlier I saw the links in your bio, I see your a designer? Some of that 3D modelling is stunning - blown away by the Nostromo, is that yours? I'm an Industrial designer myself, so all the custume design, vehicle design, prop design is what Im looking forward to, nearly more than anything else! I am in love with the Prometheus!

...I have done some work on games as well, i love my 3dstudio max....tho lately more ISO game design for a local designer on freelance basis.....I love everything so far and that Prometheus model looks amazing....cannot even imagine how many polygons went in their!

Wow Ender that's cool! Yeah, I did most of the modelling myself, certainly on all the architectural stuff, whereas some projects I worked in collaboration with others. But all rendering, lighting and materials are entirely done by me. I studied product/industrial design back in Germany for 4 years but then specialised to become a 3D artist/visualiser in architecture. So I'm stuck in London since 2001, currently out of work. You're in the UK as well, right? Nudge nudge, wink wink

Hal we're fairly hijacking this thread! I did my degree back in 2002 and work was scarce so I got into IT (which is where I am now) so I sorta missed the boat on the digital side, back when I was in college it was all pencil sketches and graphic markers, I'm sure you remember! I'm trying to get into the digital side now but I feel like a WWII pilot learning how to fly a Raptor! I keep wanting to take out my sketch pad! Seeing your renderings on spaceships and stuff really makes me want to put the hours in and get up to date. Not in the UK but in Dublin so not far away from you!!!

I have never followed a movie where so much information has been released yet I feel that I still know absolutely nothing about the movie. It isn't just a matter of being ignorant of the sequence of events, but being ignorant of the entire plot. I have to admire a movie that can be transparent yet incredibly secretive at the same time.

Honestly, I cannot understand how people who go out of there way to find a website forum devoted to one single topic, an as yet unseen movie, who have the freewill (or do they haha) to not view a spoiler, clip etc, can be "upset" that they're spoiled. they've shown nish all. if these are the best bits then they've wasted their money making the movie. These are starters, morsels. Other films have for a long time given away much more footage than this. Wait until there are late night special features on prometheus, i've seen those last an hour or so. Exercise your right to ignorance people!!! lol

Well said, Windood. I'd also like to point out that of the total aggregate of clips/trailers we've been given, we've gotten [i]maybe[/i] 25% new stuff across the board since the first trailer. The rest of it is the same scenes being shown over, and over, and over again - sometimes from different angles, sometimes with a few extra frames of footage on either side - [i]but that's still 75% of the same stuff being re-used in trailers and TV spots.[/i] I'm not worried.

if you went to the right forums, everything about the star wars prequels was given away. they even had storyboards, scripts pieced together, countless call sheets, the works. This is nothing in comparison, RS security have done a good job, barely any unoffical leaks. @Hal + Ender (get a room guys ) haha :-)

@otto...glass vials that you have to break the top off to get at the contents...sounds like an ampule :) @hal9000.....Im with you but Im going into the theatre hoping that what we have seen are misdirections / inconsequential tidbits compared to when we see it all in context. However - Iets be honest, less is more - did I ever need to see the blue guy, space cobra, the prometheus colliding into the Juggernaut, mutated Fifield, exploding heads, squiddly/shaw/medpod, old weyland? Seriously - if these are inconsequential tidbits then were going to be in for a serious ride - but either way you look at it - those would have been awesome setpieces and surprises if they were under lock and key. Slightly concerned.....we can all come back after teh movie and know objectively if we were shown 'too much'

I am not spoiled at all with all this 'spoiler-ish' trailer stuff ... it makes me wanna go see it more than ever to be honest ... I still think we have seen NOTHING ... these tid bits are what trailers are supposed to be like ... all the LOW budget sh!t films show their best bits in trailers and nothing is left for the main movie :/ ... Prometheus is not in that league ... it is not a Sh!t movie or a low budget one ... there's plenty of footage to go round ;) ... [b]OH and I noticed something ... maybe ;) ...[/b] There's something ELSE coming out of that Geyser ... as well as Steam or Water :) ...

"Oh no! Fox put out too much information about the movie I want to see.
