I just thought it was kind of interesting to see parts of Prometheus and the things surrounding Prometheus come to life in the different media besides the magazines and blogs etc. focused on either sci-fi or movies in general.
Okay so here comes my first discussion post on this site. ( Hope this is in the right section)
I'm assuming a lot of people don't watch Barely Political's YouTube channel, and I wouldn't either but they're the people who first sparked my interest in Alien because I'm young and my generation tends to suck in the movie, music etc. departments. Anyways I was scrolling through and came across a rather interesting video, there parody of a video called 'hot problems(?)'.' Basically they're making fun of the American Politician Mitt Romney.
There are two parts in the video that refer to the David 8 advertisement.

& the Parody video seen here:

In the parody 'Mitt Romney' video we see them mention the fact they can not feel human emotions but can understand them; which we see in the David Video at about 1:40 into the video. Toward the end of the parody video we also see them show the robot wrapped in a plastic sheet similar to that scene in the David 8 advertisement at the beginning and toward the end of it.
Again nothing big, just something kind of interesting.
(I must apologise if the video offends anyone not what I intended to do by posting this video, my goal was also not to get people to view their video. It's intended as just a bit of humour towards the American Political Election. & my point in posting was showing the similarities.)
Hopefully this wasn't a waste of anybody's time.
Thanks
