NO FACE HUGGERS?

Hey guys, Not sure if this was already covered as I am a new member and have not had an opportunity to review many past posts. I noticed that in some of the Trailers, they show some kind of alien organism that is encountered by the Crew but it does not seem to be a "Face Hugger". Can anyone confirm if there are any Face Huggers or "Aliens" in this film? It looks like the SPace Jockey race makes an appearance but I an still abit confused as to what is actually going on in this film.. maybe details are being kept quiet.. so... Any Face Huggers or Aliens or what?? Thanks Super Pumped for this!

Nope, it's not that kind of movie. It's all new stuff, new aliens and creatures. Stuff that has never been seen before.

Welcome to forum friend...glad you're with us...actually, there will be no aliens in this movie, as we've known them, no facehuggers or anything like that...while this is a prequel, it is a stand alone story that focuces on the Jockies...

If we do see Facehuggers in this movie, I'll be surprised, maybe even a little disappointed. We are going to see some bizarre creatures in this movie, but there's no indication of Facehuggers (despite one press photo showing an egg laying beside David) being in this movie. Instead we will have some snake-like creature that goes deepthroat on you, which is reminiscent of the Facehugger's method of impregnation, but until then, no Facehugger.

So I wonder how it will all link together with the Alien films?.. where does the Zenomorph come into play?.. Seems like the Aliens look a certain way based on the host organism.. maybe the Aliens we see in the film are a result of these New Creatures linking with humans, producing the Aliens we know and recognize from the original films?..

You should instead see the new creature in the movie. It's better than facehugger and the xenomorph adult. Just in case if you need it .... *hugs*

@Sky, Though the creatures in the film might be cool, I doubt that it's comparable to the facehugger and the xenomorphs. In fact, it was even voted on the top scariest creatures of all time in Ign. Even if Giger does his magic again, I would still prefer the xenomorphs and maybe a chestburster :P

@allinamberclad You mean face-snuggie. It gently wraps around your whole body and has holes for your arms so that you can read or use your arms/hands in some other way while it's hugging you. You can also have it engineered with your favorite football teams logo and colors.

@Acidic; The Space Jockey. You know the big guy that had the hole in his chest (from a possible chestburster) and was surrounded by eggs that infected Kane and made a xeno in the first Alien film, THAT is the tie in. :P

@Alexa, new trailer that shows this new creature in 4 life cycles is really scary. I don't know how much critic will appreciate it but that's just me.

Acidic....by all accounts it's not meant to tie in with the xenomoprhs at all....It's entirely about the SpaceJockey Race....

@Craigmore: Interesting.. so it's not really so much a "Prequel" persay as it is a story from the same Universe.. so do you think we will be enlightened at all as to the origin's of the xenomorphs?

@crazydave...yes, you're right, I think I'd be disappointed at this point if I saw anything of the sort of what we saw in A.1...this movie is all original...I like it!
