Hell Yes! I saw the first three at the theaters when they came out, missed resu-but thats a good thing right? I am so exited, I can barely stand it. Till then, this site, and all of the awesome posts will do fine!

Ha, I seriously had this dream last night that I was abducted by "the greys" and offered an oppurtunity to leave with them, yet could never come back. I thought, "Do I have to decide now?" I was told I would become one of many missing people mysteries, yet they would offer me a larger purpose. I was concerned with their lack of culture. Ultimately, I considered, if I leave with you, I'll miss the Prometheus movie, so no thank you. Then I woke up at 3 AM and haven't slept since.

I remember seeing Alien 3 in theatre and being terribly dissapointed. Haven't seen it since, yet now am curious to revisit it. Resurrection was campy, yet not as terrible as portrayed by so many. I thought the scene when Ripley sees all the failed attempts to clone her was pretty cool.

@Ngranek You are so lucky of having the chance of seeing the first 2 in theaters, I only got the chance to watch the rest :(

I agree, they all have their own merits. But, it seems like they keep getting slightly less good. For me at least, it seems like: A1 = 5 stars A2 = 4 stars A3 = 3 stars A4 = 2.5 stars AVP = black hole (still watched it-hey, its got aliens And predators), but felt bad (for watching it) afterwards. I am confident that this will right the trend, start fresh again (Tabla Rasa).

Hey Alexa, I saw ALIEN (Director's Cut 2003) in a theatre in Austin, Texas two years ago, It was INCREDIBLE! You should check the net for showings in your area...ya might be able to find something. Good Luck! ~N

@Alexa-I was 12 when we saw Alien at the theater-scared the bejeezus out of me, for a long time! But it kept the flame of Sci-Fi burning bright inside! When Aliens came out, we were working outside in the hills-at night. It seemed like aliens were behind every bush, tree, rock (lock the doors!)-scared for days. Alien3 was kind of a downer-not scary, but still had a lot of the atmosphere-just seemed like something was missing.

Ngranek, I watched first fifteen minutes of AVP2, so easy to decide this is not canon. Whoever wrote that script;much less, directed film should be working in a Walmart warehouse far away from any creative endeavor.

AVP2? Where have I been? Say it isn't so-please! Dang it-I'll probably watch it sooner or later (on TV-netflix?).

My ex-girlfriend is a journalist, gets press passes to premieres such as this one often. Has oppurtunity to see films before release. Guess who has been nice to her lately? Actually I just went on Wikipedia and discovered that [i]the French[/i] are getting Prometheus on May 30th. You Britons get it two days later. My bad on my last post.....but I'm sure it must be embarrassing to put up with Frenchmen bragging about getting Prometheus before you guys, with them taunting you like the French Taunter. It'll be that scene from Monty Python's Holy Grail all over again, but that's just me, being an American and imagining how the Britons and the French harass each other. :P
