Can the androids engage in sexual relationships?

Apparantly, Ash was curious about sex, but lacked a member so he was unable to engage in sexual activity. This lead to the infamous "choking scene" where he tried to kill Ripley by shoving a rolled up Porno down her throat. Then again, in a deleted scene Ripley asks Lambert, who was promiscuous, if she ever had sex with Ash and she says "he never seemed that interested". Many scenes are about her being "Fuc^able" and when they discover she is an android they mock the guy that has a crush on her by saying he "almost screwed a Toaster".

In the DVD Commentry for Alien Ridley Scott states that Ash tries to suffocate Ripley with a magazine because... 1. He has frustrated sexual urges. 2. He DOESN'T have the required part to engage in sexual intercourse.

I think it would be really interesting if they could engage in sexual acts. I wonder if humans would accept them more, if they knew they could have sex with them? After all, it is the most common of human urges.

Well you can bet your bottom dollar. That once mankind can create Andriods even if not quite up to David 8 standard, that one of the biggest uses would be Companionship Driods. Certainly for the mega rich and famous.....

Actually I think this is a really relevant question. As androids creators, one of the first things we find ourselves being curious about is, "can we have sex with them?" And the Engineers as our creators, I think ask themselves the same question about us! Which is Why Shaw ends up with a squid-baby
