MemberOvomorphMay-21-2012 11:58 AMI was always confused to the general structure of the nostromo to me it always looked like a star destroyer city thing.
Im gonna have to say the Prometheus looks pretty slick and I love the shape.
Would want to pick the Derelict but it must'nt be that great a ship it always seems to crash (derelict-Alien and now Juggernaut-Prometheus both get put on their asses)

MemberOvomorphMay-21-2012 11:51 AMAuriga seemed to be in good nick while not feeling like a cold, sterile environment. I'm also attracted to the small cabin space it offers to its inhabitants. Plus it can fly itself back to Earth. Yep, that's the ship for me. When can I board?

rather than the whole refinery: it doesn't her do any justice, though it's quite gothic.
Anyway, my favourite spaceship ever (not just limited to the Alien universe, but the whole sci-fi genre) is the Derelict.
The Prometheus looks beautiful (more so after seeing it on an IMAX screen) but the ship by Giger is in a league of its own.
Ridley Scott will eventually tell us how the Queen was born.
Right now we have the Deacon; coming soon the Mercury, the May and the Taylor.

MemberPraetorianMay-25-2012 2:10 PMGiger's derelict was an incredible contrast to Nostromo. It was so eerie, weird and beautifully repulsive. The most incredible visuals ever, especially when the camera tracks backwards and upwards to reveal the Space Jockey in all it's glory. Awesome!!
