It' be like the Darth Vader reveal again in The Empire Strikes Back when people picked up in idle conversation those who came out of the cinema babbling about what had gone on before saying: "I am your father!" and ruining it for those who hadn't seen it yet!

Honestly that's why I have a new best friend, "torrents". If the film is up to par, I will go see it in the theaters when it comes out June 8th in IMAX. That's why I was also glad the Avengers got released a week early by sunday night I already watched the film a week early.

Unfortunately billjill there will be a lot ... we'd be lying if we said no ... it cannot be stopped, that will happen anywhere for any movie :/ ... The STAFF will NOT be able to police it just on their own ... now way ... this has gone HUGE ... even though we have the right SECTIONS for posting stuff people now are still NOT using them for the relevant topics ... so we can't win ... a shame but that's the truth ... no matter how hard we work at it ... ;) ... As for Rikk (the lucky sod) ... someone hire a plane with smoke trails ... RSS FEED mid air lol ...

We Americans are spoiled rotten, cry baby, shitheads in general. Why should it be any different?

Oh boohoohoo you might know about something in the movie before it happens on screen. Babies. Good movies, the kind that are watcheable more than once (and which I anticipate Prometheus being), don't rely on surprises and "gotcha" moments for substance, but on the depth of the content provided, depth that requires you to watch it more than once anyways. Anything else is just cheap, Michael Bay, rollercoaster bullshit.

Pardon me if I missed something here, but what does the UK getting Prometheus before us have to do with us Americans being spoiled crybabies? I can understand the sense of jealousy that the UK gets it first and we don't, but this topic seems to touch more upon the premonition that these forums will be rife with spoilage. Anyway, Americans are generally good people, like any other joe in any other country. But I will admit that we're the loudest people in the world (metaphorically-speaking), and we tend to take our blessings & our values for granted.
