Are any theaters showing non-3d?

I'm just going to put this out there- I, and my entire social circle, hate 3D movies. Hollywood shoving this awful technology down our throats is absurd- the effect is gimmicky, and reduces resolution and contrast. It just looks blurry and stupid. However, the theaters around me are only showing the movie in 3D. What gives? Is there any way to see what places are showing non-ruined versions of the movie?

I pretty sure the 2d movie house down the street from me is planning on showing it at some point, so I hope they do, the manager said there is a chance it could, but she wasn't 100%. hope that helps

My local theater usually shows both 2D and 3D versions of films. It has both scheduled for Prometheus.

Ours has 2D as well but less screenings and at weird times.

The closest theater to my home (J.S. Cinema, Canton, NY) is 2D only, and that's the only version I will ever watch. 3D is a fad that I wish would just die. Again.

if you live around a major city you should be able to find something. im seeing it in china town DC...and i do not support 3D.

Or you could wait until it comes out at your local dollar theater (for a secondary run). Yeah, I know, not a great option, but just putting it out there.
