Any thoughts on what this is? To me, it looks like a needle.. Possibly a way to inject DNA into another life form to change it's genetic make up?

MemberOvomorphMay-26-2012 2:23 AMIt's an ampoule - a sealed glass (or plastic) container that breaks off at the thin part just below the top. Usually a sterile way of holding a liquids for hypo needles or other uses. There is a further scene of David breaking off the top to get at the contents.
As for the contents: probably some life form building substance that comes in many different flavors ;)
