Yet another screen cap analysis thread. We know what comes before this screen cap - David pulls something out of the "Urn" which the crew take from the Engineer Temple. [center][url=http://www.prometheus-movie.com/gallery/view/img/359][img]http://www.prometheus-movie.com/media/prometheusE_screencap7.jpg[/img][/url][/center] Any thoughts on what this is? To me, it looks like a needle.. Possibly a way to inject DNA into another life form to change it's genetic make up?

It's an ampoule - a sealed glass (or plastic) container that breaks off at the thin part just below the top. Usually a sterile way of holding a liquids for hypo needles or other uses. There is a further scene of David breaking off the top to get at the contents. As for the contents: probably some life form building substance that comes in many different flavors ;)

Oh... well, that's not how Meredith told me she used it... ...alright, I'm out of here EDIT: I'm pretty sure David's face means: "Did he really say ' Try harder ' ??" ...ok, ok, I said I was on my way out!

Jim100a100 is right it is an ampoule, we use them at work..however ours are a lot smaller and filled with reagents
