My SJ / Cuddles theory

After watching the available trailers and media for Prometheus about a billion times, something jumped out at me (metaphorically speaking). When the crew first discover the Juggernaut, they activate the holographic 'log', which show a group of SJs running through the corridors, as they pass David and the crew the scene only shows a single SJ from the back running around the corner. But what about the 3-4 other SJs in that first part of the scene? Obviously they are some distance behind the first one as he clears the corner before the other SJ holos reach the crew's position. This got me thinking. They are chasing him, not running with him, as first thought. I assumed they were taking battle stations or defensive positions on the Jugg in the holo, but I am now convinced that is not the case. The SJ is being pursued by his comrades, he did something the rest are not happy about. The crew also encounter many SJ corpses throughout the Jugg, most importantly the pile at the 'exit' ( I read elsewhere that the Hieroglyphs spelled out "exit" or "no loitering" in Sumerian.) In this scene we see the last desperate attempt to either capture the pursued SJ or keep him out of the Jugg. I now believe they died there when a catastrophic hull breach compromises the Jugg's atmosphere, or when they attempt to purge the SJ from the Jugg's airlock. (We already know that the air in the Jugg is breathable, but the outside atmosphere is not - hence the helmets in any exterior shots.) Either way, it could explain the haphazard placement of dead SJs throughout - like they dropped dead right then and there from asphyxiation. So, we have a beheaded SJ corpse, with the head being OUTSIDE of the Jugg's airlock / entrance (I think). This would support the theory, as now our 'infected' SJ corpse has been identified as the headless one - the one being pursued by his shipmates in the holo. This brings in the next part of my theory... "Cuddles" is believed to be Shaw's 'baby', which is removed from Shaw via the Medipod, It's obvious that the Alien antagonist resembles Cuddles just on a much larger scale, so the beast must be Shaws baby right? Wrong. Cuddles is killed by the medipod after removal from Shaw, The beast is actually our old headless SJ friend who has re-animated thanks to some genetic freebies provided by the Prometheus crew. The Infected crew members are not turning into more Cuddle beasts - but rather SJs, as some here have already speculated, and thus are drawn back into the ancient battle against their old comrade / foe. (from the hologram log) This would support the seemingly 'helpful' SJ who pushes Shaw and wrestles with the beast in the doorway, as well as the more hostile behavior from Mohawk guy with the fire axe. It also explains the odd color and texture similarities between the SJ and the beast's tentacles. In short, The crew discovers the remains of an ancient battle, covered in a stone mound by it's survivors / victors to hopefully seal away the dangerous organism/s the SJs either found or created. We wrongfully assume it is a temple or monument for worship, when in fact it is an entombed experiment gone awry...think Chernobyl or something along those lines. This can be further validated by the giant skull topping 'Castle Harkonnen'. It is the universal sign of danger to all hominids. Of course, we ignore the obvious signs and accidentally restart the reactor so to speak. When it is all said and done, Shaw is the only crew member to successfully destroy her infection as the rest mutate or die in the struggle.

This theory was discussed with many twists and turn before in other threads. Problem with this theory is that there are some things not known as of now. For example, the warning sign which is interpreted as an invitation. We have to see the movie to figure out the links in this theory.
Uncertainty is the only certainty there is, and knowing how to live with insecurity is the only security.
