@Forever War I am gonna keep a close eye on that thread regardless....his claims are very likely fake....but i got to wait till the 8th when it's released in SA....so anything to pass the time....plus he said his review would be spoiler free!....so it's not really gonna hurt anyone to read it ....?

A spoiler free review is like non alcoholic beer or fat-free bacon. These people can say they saw or are going to see the film all they want but why can't any of them post a single pic of their ticket or some sort of receipt?

I'll tell you how you can tell....Do you see Fox itself using these screenings to promote the film? I don't. Why wouldn't they?....thats their business. I dont trust anything that isnt official. This media campaign is STILL going on..right up until the last minute

@Shabou I don't think anyone besides the guy who posted the pic of the "sleeping" engineer has seen it. I've done some follow up and asked lots of questions to the people who claimed to have seen it and it all points to NEGATIVE. No one was even willing to post a pic of a ticket or any kind of material evidence that they'd seen it. The reason I think that guy who had the sleeping engineer pic had seen it was because he actually had a picture. We would have more such pictures had there been more screenings.

I don't recall that either. Even if it was mentioned I would give it a 99%chance of it being false.

I think that it was on the Alien Prequel news site (Thursday, 29 March 2012). No news about this event.

Actually sounds more like something one of the trolls from one of the "other" forums would poop out in all honesty........................ But I may be wrong............ Anyone? Bueller? Bueller? i don't think press are allowed to give away any spoilers....just their general opinion.....I think i am gonna love this movie still!.....critics can be such idiots and it really seems like they were expecting a true Alien prequel....but their are plenty of very positive little one liners....tho the majority are very ambiguous....like they cannot make up their minds?

I still don't believe anyone at all besides those at Fox, Scott Free Productions and, Force forbid, Brandywine -_- have seen it at all yet.

The only ones i came across was.... The areyouseeingthis leak...... which ended with Shaw chopping Vickers Head off. This had many holes in it and we can attain it was fake. The Twitter Girl leak, which again mentioned most stuff that we can optain from the Trailers, while she never mentioned any thing about some other important parts of the movie that have been revealed in TV spots etc after her suposed viewing... such as no mention of Shaw going back onto the Derelict, the Tentacle Monster and Engineer Fight and many others. We then had the person on here who said they saw it about 2 weeks ago, again cant say they are legit as what they said was like wow, stuff we have not seen or could not conclude from any trailers... Basically without being spoilerish.... we assume crew are attacked by Cobrahuggers..... but thats not the case well only part of it. But again its only their words and they have no real proof.... I was told and said on here a number of times, that a suposed Screening was happening on the 22nd/23rd.... Again only what someone told me, they said that maybe apart from a showing in LA days before, that this screening would be the first full screening for Press etc and thus Twiter Girl and areyouseeingthis leaks could not have seen the movie. Then we had that leaked Engineer picture being observed while sleeping in his sarcophagus just before he wakes up.... The Bane looking one.... This happened after 23rd and was a image take by someones phone, the person who took it had to remove the image and Twits about it at the request of Fox The same goes for a number of threads and copies of that image on other places on the Internet... To me this conclude that indeed a Screening had occured on the 22nd/23rd. And thankfully no one has spilled many beans as of yet..... thats maybe because everyone who would had seen that Screening would be on record with Fox, and thus they would had been told they do not leak anything untill after the movies propper Premier for the Public. Where you can garuntee if you worked for a Magazine, and you leaked stuff, if they track it back to you, then Fox would not deal with your Magazine for scoops and stuff again.

@Juxtapose, I was referring to the screenings mentioned before this week as being fakes. The ones coming up are probably real. I went to your link and it appears some critics and other people are getting a peek. Oh well, we will have to wait and see. It wouldn't surprise me if critics didn't like Prometheus. I rarely agree with the Oscars, film critics, and the other "experts". The guy who writes movie reviews in my local entertainment magazine has no idea and is constantly getting letters telling him how wrong he is, I wish he'd get another job.

......c'mon......????!!...did you guys read that?....it's a French pre screening for the press and their reaction to seeing Prometheus...it seems very polarized...i think fans will love it but critics can be such assholes....if this is even for real..????....but i am starting to think it is!

well people are people....reminds me of that old Depeche Mode song!...not everyone's gonna love it....I think religious beliefs might also come into play and people might be giving it bad reviews purely based on that....I think their is much brains on these forums and we can effectively make the distinction between sci-fi and religion....some of the most polarized movies become some of my all time favorites....the best movies are the ones that divide people!!
