Does this statement bother anyone else?

The Hollywood Reporter. "A visually stunning return to science-fiction by Ridley Scott [u]caters too much to audience expectations[/u] when more imaginative boldness would have taken it further." Could it be? After 30+ years, just [i]cashing[/i] in on the classic [b]Alien[/b] in favor of creating his true vision? I certainly hope not.
