Well, I just couldn't resist no matter how hard I tried, but I ended up reading the relatively detailed plot synopsis on Wikipedia. If anyone else is interested in spoiling their movie-going experience, here's the link. I think the trailers and Tv spots don't as much as some said... Well, logically, you get more surprised if you don't know what's going to happen. For example, in the thing prequel, they showed the face of a creature spliting in a trailer and I got surprised when I saw that the whole body splits. But I hope that the surprises in prometheus are in the story...
