Plot vs. Themes (spoiler-free)

Any spoilers posted will be removed (the entire post).[/size] -----------------------------------------------------------------Many who have seen the movie have posted their initial feelings in response to various scenes and plot twists. What about exploring some of the subtext that may be suggested by the movie? For ex. we know that a major theme is humans vs. technology. The movie shows us a range from David 8 to the Engineers themselves, technology that is both malevolent and benevolent. For those who have seen the movie, are there other themes present that stayed with you as you exited the premiere?
