Is 'Prometheus 2' in post-production?

Considering how many of the reviews so far have commented on the open ending & how it's set up for a sequel, plus the scale of the sets & construction involved...
Maybe 2x movies were filmed simultaneously (like LOTR, Matrix sequels etc.)? Makes sense; keeps the costs down...
Perhaps we won't have to wait so long for Prometheus 2! :)

No dude, didnt happen - Not even pre-production - In fact I don't believe it has been written - Lindeloff makes his stuff up on the fly.
In fact I think Scott should hire members of this community to write the sequel.

Keeps the cost down, sounds about right...

They should hire this whole community.
But.. If Scott needs an actress in his sequel - well hello! I can even act a tree if it's needed, lol

Discussed here already.... I think you'll like the evidence I bring to the table agreeing with this possibility
PS, thread might get locked

@NateBlitz; missed your thread, but I think you're on the money... P2 is either partially or fully complete as the links' suggest. Hadn't seen those before! Kudos...

If you remember ,there was a magellan ship door described somewhere,
could be in the next film ?

I am of the same opinion as NateBlitz. More has transpired than we have seen. Don't be surprised to see the next installment in 1 year's time.

Did nobody else notice the planet designation as LV223. alien and Aliens was On a planet Designated LV426 possibly a lot further away. The film is open ended as if they do find another ship and make it to the engineers planet perhaps david will be able to communicate with them in a less aggressive way. As for that i found that one of the most confusing things in the film was that the alien from the engineer burst out fully formed and not as the snake like creature we know and love, especailly the one in "Spaceballs, The movie." I think that although the special effects and acting were both excellent the storyline itself was flawed by plotholes that only a sequel, or speculation can explain. I would also go on to say that due to the dallas comment earlier it is possible that if the engineers were all fleeing the planet one of the ships may have a fossilised engineer in the cockpit/navigation seat and that it crashed on LV426 that way it would be explained like that. If a sequel is planned i would like to offer my services to the director. I just hope if there is a sequel it fully answers how they arrived in the Alien movie and maybe even start to explain the Predators....that would be fun.
Alien vs Predator, Evolution.
