Marc Streitenfeld...my commiserations

The guy i feel sorry for most is Marc Streitenfeld. He clearly wrote a dark, partially Zimmer-inflected (is that a term?!) moody score. People clearly heard it...and had no faith. They bring in Harry Gregson-WIlliams to write some additional music, and the main track he wrote, 'Life', is the piece that runs throughout the ENTIRE movie. I mean...THE ENTIRE MOVIE?! Anytime something spectacular is happening - 'Life' kicks in! It's a gorgeous piece of music but - and this is coming from an aspiring composer - to see your score being sidelined by one piece of music would be such a kick in the sack! Oh well...he got paid.
