After Prometheus Follows Prometheus part 2

I think one story was split into two from conception...so anyone who has seen it , which I have not..has only seen half of it. Ridley and Damon have been coy and evasive about their plans since the start, and it's simply part of the project's plan to withhold as much info as possible which creates interest, which fires everyone up and so on and so on. playin in the background...Custard Pie

Too bad we have to wait YEARS to see this thing finish.

That seems to be the deal,,,yep Unless......all that filming secrecy was to put 2 in the can, #1 is out now, #2 out at a strategic point hopefully not past the point of breaking interest completely.....speculation.

personally i think part 2 it nearly finished and will probably be out maybe xmas time and part 3 next summer

I'm with you kevin...and its not eager hope on my part completely..Ridley is TOO quiet and dodgy

Forever war I also reckon part 3 will be more on the evolution of the Xeno ,part 2 obviously why were we created and why kill us but people shouldnt worry the Xenos are coming

Do not be surprised if the next installment arrives between a 1-1.5 years. I have my suspicions.....

Lets say the film is considered mediocre by the public and doesn't do well at the box office then how can there even be a part two? I don't see the movie studios bank rolling a sequel to a film that tanked just to please "Alien" fans.

It does seem to be "en vogue" to film more that one movie at a time so that the sequels can come out fast, (ex: Lord or the Rings and Harry Potter, just to name a few.)

there must be another part, where the '' new ripley'' teams up with david. they kept the two best actors ''alive'' they played the part well! i loved the viral of Mr weyland. pitty he was just old in the movie. great actor and thus great viral. SPOILER ALERT! At the end of the movie the jockey wasnt in his chair with is chest popped open, that was a sign for me that this wasnt the end. our titan 'god' aka space jockey will have some other problems in another part because they named a differtent planet then lv 426. i would love to see our new riply going on a hunt to LV 426. where she finds another pod with a jockey in it. maybe she teams up with it? finds out what makes us tick as humans? and why the spawn life and death on planets. the flute was also a nice touch. i couldnt help notice that they used 'sound' for activating the computer :). great touch. i also noticed that Mr Ridley read books like chariots of the gods (erich von Danniken) and things like the 12e planet (zachariah Sitchin) things like pre human life always interests me (just like the assassin's creed series) im looking forward seeing the aliens universe being expanded to somthing greater. one thing, i really missed in this new movie... the horror mood alien had, the long dialogs the silence, what made the movie into the evergreen it still is. im glad he teamed up with Giger again, and i LOVED the not yet evolved alien being that popped up on the end of the movie :). he didnt go all the way and make it look more lizard like, because the human features of the 'later/earlier' aliens are great, but it would be easy to do that. i was amazed by prometheus he didnt use the 3d to much and he didnt use it in a dominating way. great! ow my i would love the write with those guys on a new chapter, i have SO MANY ideas!! goody goody. why did the Jockey's/titans create us? did they visit earth afterwards? did they spawn us for indeed thing like helping getting them recourses for their killer weapons? the alien bacteria? why is there a GIANT face/body Hugger? whats the story of the small ones? did hey go against the grain with darwin on the beginning of the movie? all of these questions where there are still no anwsers :). he uses incan summerian and other peoples with te star signs :) great set up. the movie made me curious when they talked about us being gods, and the titans setting course for earth to destroy us. how did the ancient text get up on to our walls in our caves? did they see them? all of these questions where ridley, one day will have to anwser us. alien is one of my favourite movies because of the tension on the ship, the tension between te actors. mr ridley did a good job. i loved it and i am waiting for more! more ! more! :) we need antother one. will we one day see the space jockey die in the chair? finally giving birth to the first real alien looking alien? why did he die? we now know that sitting in the chair means that he was planning to take of. it wasnt this one, because, there wasnt a space jockey in a chair anddd... it was the wrong planet! all i can say is chapeau, and i will hope to see prometheus 2 soon. remember. no one hears your scream in outher space ;)
