Davids Visor / Helmet

Hi all I am going to see the film tonight in the UK and really looking forward to it. Now in the trailers we see David attending to the crew in hypersleep and he has a yellow colour visor and white head gear on. Is this how he talks to people when they are in Hypersleep ?? Thanks Lee
