Maybe already posted somewhere on the forum (if so, please link)… but I think it would be pretty neat if the black goo is simply nano-robots in liquid, programmed to disassemble or realign DNA whatever way you want. The nano-robots could also be used to completely disintegrate a body, like in the beginning sequence at the waterfall. Seeing Prometheus reminded me of one of the X-files episodes: http://x-files.wikia.com/wiki/S.R._819 Would the robots be self-replicating you could also end up with everything being grey goo: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Grey_goo Bad idea though... What do you think? Thanks for an amazing forum and all interesting posts! Cheers!

you're saying you suspect Prometheus was written by a MIND THAT'S BEEN BROUGHT UP ON ALTERNATIVE TV SHOWS as a staple foodstuff? Yup....
2013 sci-fi horror novels 'Custodian' and 'Tandem' available from Amazon, B&N, iTunes etc...

Isn't that what happens in G.I. Joe: The Rise of Cobra? That movie was beyond stupid.
