Yes, I ordered mine last week. I'm kind of along the same lines you are...I'm seeing it Friday at 11am. I have a long drive tha tday, and I'm leaving after the movie. I also noticed the "no passes" tag when I ordered, thought it was odd. I know what you mean about show times not coming up. Fandango sent me an alert telling me I could buy tickets for my area, but the only showtime they had was Friday 1201am showing, and no link to buy the ticket. I went over to movietickets.com and ordered the tickets with no problem. Thanks Fandango for the heads up! lol Anyway, I hope you enjoy the movie. I know I can't wait!

I despise crowded theaters so I'll wait. Ideally, I'd like to see the film in a very sparsely populated venue.

@Syphonox - Getting really anxious here!
I'll have to go in person to buy my IMAX 3D tickets in advance. I have three $10 vouchers; 1 from the blu-ray preorder & 2 from two FOX blu-ray purchases that had $10 movie money stickers. Unfortunately they can't be used for online purchases.
I hope you enjoy Prometheus also.

@RSAND - I hear ya'...I'm not a fan of crowds either, but I can't wait a couple of weeks for the crowds to dwindle. I'm ready to burst like John Hurt. :p

I bought my midnight thursday ticket over a week ago.........can't wait! (despite all the negativity)

Bought mine last month. Midnight on Thurs. baby! IMAX 3D! I had a friend who tried getting them this weekend and couldn't. Pretty sure that venue's been sold out for a week or 2. I'll give it a couple of days and then see it again in 2D.

@db - Wow...what state/city are you located? I'm kind of "rural" around 30+ miles outside of Scranton, PA. Nothing sold out by me, as of yet.

I thought about doing the 12:01AM showing this Thursday, but it's only for IMAX 3D and I decided on Digital 3D instead. So, I'm hitting the theater this Friday night (could be a bad decision on my part if it's extremely crowded) but oh well, they've been purchased.

Got mine long ago...come on people, this is an extremely rare event!! Don't give a damn about the pseudointellectual film critics with more shit in them than brains. This movie is a Horror Show, not 2001...it should be seen at midnight with as many people as possible!!! It's part of the thrill hearing all those gasps and screams and vomiting....Real 3D first then Imax on Saturday.

I usually don't preorder tickets, though I wonder if I should before it's too late.....though it's not often that my location has movies that are sold out or filled....
...except for that time on January 1st of 2010 when my brother and I went to see Avatar and we had to wait in the cold for hours. )x

I have tickets for 11am Friday and while I normally hate seeing something this close to opening I simply cannot wait.
As for reviews of negativity consider this - there are negative reviews out there about ANY movie! Ignore anyone's opinion but your own until you see Prometheus and can decide for yourself!
P.S. It's going to rock anyways! :P

I'm going mid week, so I should be ok, but yes If your going during the evening and opening night get your tickets.

Dave_bJune 04, 2012
I can't believe the restraint here....all this lead up and you don't see it opening night??

I've got my 6 tickets for 6/8 12:01 AM and will pick-up 2 more for 6/11 1 PM. When I called yesterday, only 67 out of 330 had been sold for the midnight IMAX 3D release here at the biggest IMAX in Georgia. I will arrive 6 hours early and switch off (taking shifts) to take walks around the mall and pre-eating, etc.

Hell my local theaters haven't yet listed the times for when Prometheus is showing. I have about three of them; one that is conveniently close by and two that are downtown, one of them downtown being an IMAX theater. This leads me to an issue I haven't bothered to contemplate yet.....should I see it in theater, or in IMAX? And if I see it in IMAX I get a sweet poster. Ergh....

I have a Dbox theater so if I wanted the best seats, I had to buy early. But I won't be doing the midnight showing after the reviews I've read.
