ALIENS COLONIAL MARINES GAME

They're on the sulaco from what I can gather following the line of what if the queen laid more eggs other than the ones the facehuggers from Alien3 Where the hosts came from and if they go down to lv426 at some point later in the game I don't know either.we don't know how far hadleys hope is away from the derelict so maybe that would play some part I'm not sure One thing I do know is it looks awesome

apparently its been in the making for years, and was gonna be released when the ps2 came out but kept being put back, im quite excited about it but most film games are bad, but im an aliens fan so have to wait and see what its like, fingers crossed

They advertised it when I saw Prometheus. It does look really good

From what I've heard, its a direct sequel to Aliens, its set with a new set of marines that fly to LV426 to find out what happened to the Sulaco and crew, they end up at Hadleys hope, all manner of Alien stuff break out and they end up at the derelict where more alien bug shooting takes place. Im actually really looking forward to the game as its endorsed as the official sequel to Aliens and also has been wrote by the guys that wrote Aliens. However, they have put new 'Aliens' in it like the massive Rhino type alien.....which, couldn't exist due to there being no other organic species on lv426 to of created these 'rhino' aliens. But if it means that i get to cream 'Game over' at the TV, fire a pulse rifle, hear the beep of a motion tracker and fight a queen in a power loader (which I've seen in the demo) then I'm all in. 'Marines....! We are LEAVING'!!

Apparently up to 4 player co-op in the story mode if the rumours are true should be interesting

This game is from the same company that made the newest AvP game. They staggard the releases. The reason they are adding other aliens is this game will take place in more enviroments than hadleys hopes ruins and the derelict spacecraft. They will be traveling to quiet a few locations and aliens take on features of there host. (even the toy brand that came out years ago had bull aliens and others) They didnt nuke the site from orbit. The atmospheric prosessor blew causing a large explosion. The aliens come from the Derelict space craft where there eggs are located. Which is many miles from Hadleys Hope.

they're adding Prometheus content someone else said as well, I already pre ordered it a long time ago for the ps3, can't wait. Hope they woke the F Up and added a 3rd person option for both online and off !!! All Video games today should have this camera option IMHO.

they also Bought the rights to continue the story as "Canon" and are using all the same people who made the films...or did design work for them, the first trailer is fantastic...and I disagree completely about this gamer being bad! I have high hopes for it, but, IMO every single Alien game made before today up to and including AVP IMHO has to some greater or lesser degree, sucked !

@deano its a word they use for staying true to the story line... (i could have spelled it wrong).. I really enjoyed the last AvP game. while the overall story arc's werent amazing the gameplay of all 3 speices was the best the franchise has ever seen especially the alien.
