now not sureenhow directly related prometheus and alien are.... but assuming that its the same planet and loccation that they visit in alien.... shouldnt the space jockey have been sitting in the chair when he died /chest exploded ? not in the vickers retreat room..... thought they wouldve bridged that gap at least....but then.... its damon lindleoff all over.... so i half expected no answers and a cliff hanger to a sequel... as per lost.
overall disaapointd and im not even a big alien fan but expected that theyd be a consistent plot at least

MemberOvomorphJun-05-2012 9:44 AMIt's not the same jockey, bu gives us an idea of what happened.
Likelihood is that an SJ left LV-223 2000 years before and crashed his ship.

MemberOvomorphJun-06-2012 1:33 AMActually it doesn't: it doesn't explain how come a jockey like the encountered on LV246 who was carrying dangerous cargo (so who was prepared to protect himself from it's contents by any means) happened to die, and the movie doesn't even explore the jockey's use of tools or advanced weaponry: the jockey doesn't carry a gun, doesn't use the jars/urns or any other tech apart from the ship.
