(Cinefex article has some more pix of the Engineer prosthetics being applied to the actors, and there are others scattered around this board) Interesting note, IIRC, that an FX company (sorry cant recall name atm) did some subtle CGI effects to Ian Whytes's performance (like his eyes) to 'tweak' the appearance.

@donb...Yeah, they changed the eyes to match in proportion with the Engineers size. Also, because Whyte is so big most of his shots with other actors were done in camera with Whyte standing on an apple box. He's so huge. Look at the pic. Ridley is standing behind Whyte which should make Ridley look taller yet Whyte still dwarfs him. Not that Ridley is tall or anything but still.
