Looks legit. Probably some person who got a hold of a photo used it to compare and contrast the two types.

If it is legit..... then i would also go with how Lindelof said the movie will be about the Progentitor and Ridley Scott said its how Mommy meets Daddy.... Thus Xeno not created untill after the events of Prometheus?

I liked the new Xeno... looked REALLY nasty, and from a scene I seriously wasn't expecting. Will be interesting to see where Prometheus goes from here... Will SJ's go back to clean the mess up, will the new Xeno have some sort of memory recall, and be able to fly a Juggernaut, will Shaw find her answers. A whole new world has opened up : )

If this is the start of the Xenos before they evolved into what we know, how does it explain: The Xeno mural on the wall? The ancient remains of SJ's with chest cavities similar to that of Xenos? The fossilized remains on the derelict on LV-426 in Alien?

Gorman, perhaps this is the first xeno capable of reproduction on its own. I agree that it stands to reason that this cannot be the first xeno, but maybe the first of a new breed? We all know they take characteristics of the host etc. So can we assume that what it took from Shaw was the ability to reproduce? Perhaps what we saw was the change of its life cycle to give the ability for a queen and eggs? I would love to see a clear timeline of the events of prometheus, alien, aliens, etc.

@Socrates I'm pretty sure, and hope, the sequels will take care of the evolutionary timeline of the Xenos. @Gorman As far as the mural is concerned, I should imagine that the SJ's already have some affinity with the Xeno in some form or another... I guess its all down to Alien DNA, which I believe they were messing with, which went horribly wrong... HEY! A prequel to Prometheus : )
