At first, I just thought they made the stupid mistake of getting the number wrong and when the ship crashed at the end with the space-jockey in his chair, I was certain it was the set-up for the Nostromo crew to find him in Alien. I mean seriously, would it have killed Ridley to have just made that the case? The story would have remained virtually the same.
THIS is one of the main reasons fanboys (including myself) are a little peeved with this movie. We feel a little cheated, I guess.
