I have a question ...In the first alien movie the Repley team finds engineer with broken chest armor like somthing came out from him, but in Prometheus the engineer didnt stay in that control panel but went to kill Shaw ... what was the reason that the team in Alien found dead engineer on that chair?

Probably because he didn't have anyone to kill or to chase.. They sent the derelict to earth (maybe after shaw and david visited them), but we stopped them somehow, infecting the engeneer and he had to make a forced landing to LV426 where the chest bursting happened.. But any guess is just a guess..

Simple the Engineer who died on LV-223 in the medbay on Prometheus's life boats. Is not the Engineer fossilised for many thousands of years on LV-426 in Alien.

Sry probably I dont understand it all but How come it is not the same engineer? the ship that crashed at the end of prometheus has the same position as the one in first Alien. also the first creation of Alien (probably queen at the very end) was in Prometheus so it couldnt be created somewhere else.
