Ok I just saw the film... I'm thinking that the big squid thing is like a queen face hugger... and the alien that came out of the engineer is the queen alien to make those face hugger eggs...?

Not a bad theory, i dig it myself. My next thought is hoping that a part two and mabey even part three acutually come to fruition answering some of the damn questions
