The Sequel (My viewpoint)

I think they would possibly show the others Engineers on the planet(there were 5-6 ships) Now that there is an alien running amuck, i could see them doing a series on Engineers coming to the planet instead of following Shaw and Davids plot

Where do you get the numbers "five" and "six" from? Holy crap, that's a bunch of sequels about some lady and her robot-head pal, scouring the universe for the same thing Jodie Foster was looking for in Contact... I'm iffy on one sequel, let alone half a dozen. If there is a sequel, I hope it has nothing to do with Shaw and David, and instead focuses on someone, somewhere, doing something else... Maybe a family on space-vacation, headed out to Space Moose World (or something), until the land on the wrong uncharted planetoid and find themselves in the midst of an alien infestation like you wouldn't believe. They've never done a[i] National Lampoons straight to DVD[/i] teen comedy type of film in the Alien series, and I suppose after watching Prometheus today that the time may have indeed arrived for such a film.

5-6 ships on the planet. You can see them all when they are flying in to land. One was destroyed, one left(shaw and david) that leaves 3-4 more untouched ships on the planet.

I think Ridley Scott would be hard pressed not to make a sequel. He gave us a scene that was 99% similar from Alien, leading us to speculate that it's a prequel. But the movie is different, but still contsains just enough elements to link it to Alien. It's likes hes hovering a piece of candy over our faces but wont let us have it. He has been driviing me crazy trying to link the story to Alien. I'd love a prequel to calm my mind :P
