Just saw it my 2 cents.

Just a few things about Prometheus I would like to share.Went to the 10:50 AM showing in MD today and it was packed! i was surprised to see so many at the earliest showing on a Sat. morning.The IMAX 3 D is a must! Overall I was satisfied with the movie . I don't understand how anyone can say it was terrible. I think to some it was a disservice reading all the spoilers and plot points thinking they were getting something they envisioned from the plot and how it actually transpired on the screen. A few things I noticed some of the detractors say were plot holes and bad dialogue. 1.Vickers saying "father" when we all already knew this was corny. Obviously there was a lot of tension between the two and I believe the "father" line was sarcasm. 2. When the Captain asks "Is that you" to Fifield and the Mowhawk guy that were lost. i think this was just good writing. Yes he could see the holographic map with their indicators ,he just had a hard time believing there was another life form in there and was kind of thinking aloud. Happens everyday, people in a conversation ask a question they already know the answer to. 3. The spaceship landing on Vickers was kind of weak, I believe if the ship broke apart more in mid-air and a piece fell on her would have been more plausible. 4. The guy engaging the Hammerpede was befuddling ,it looked very aggressive and snake like, I doubt anybody would approach it the way he did . 4. The questions about the engineer attacking them I believe was intentionally left open for interpretation ,makes you ask questions. I didn't here anybody complaining about the "jockey" in Alien.It added to the mystery IMO just like some of the "plot holes " in prometheus. 5. P.S And the whole Med pod thing. People ask why when Elizabeth goes into the room with David , Weyland and his nurses everyone is indifferent. I thinks it's on purpose and falls right in line with the "Corporation's" line of thinking everyone is expendable. They already knew of the pregnancy and didn't care about Shaw and I assume they knew what she did in the medpod and the "baby" was still alive. Sure it could have been fleshed out better but I think thats what they were trying to convey in that scene. IMo a 8.5 out of 10. Visually stunning and yes a little rushed but still a very good movie .
