Engineers as Military

If this post is relevant to another topic that twas already started then move it over there. I didn't have time to search all the threads to find out if there was one like this. I like the idea of this being only a very small part of the "Big Guys" story. I see it as kind of a lead in to a peak at their world and civilization, technology, etc in another film. It is plausible that these guys (the so called engineers) are nothing more than their worlds military force, the front line if you will. They are just carrying our the orders from their superiors (the real engineers) back on their home world wherever that may be. I think the lady and David are on their way there as I write this. What was there mission? Who the heck knows...its up for interpretation (LOVE THAT). I see their world as a place were these are actually the only guys who have the bald heads and extreme musculature. They are their world military might. When we finally land on their home planet (coordinates of which would be obviously programed into the ship we saw leave at the end of the movie piloted by David and the lady). Everybody on their world is still 20 ft tall but they don't actually all look like super marines.
