Don't know if there's a thread for this subject, and if there is please lock it up. If there isn't then it's about time that we all share the scene from Prometheus that left an impression on you; give us the good, the bad and the ugly! Tell us what the scene was and why it moved you. After all, regardless of how you feel about the film "our" site is Prometheus central and if you're not here to talk Prometheus from one spectrum to the other then go join another site and champion its forums. Since I loved Prometheus, I'm going to share my favorite scene! The scene that moved me the most was when Cap. Janek, Ravel and Chance crashed the Prometheus into the Juggernaut. Those guys left the "punk juice smoothies" back on earth and went out like true heroes. I also think that Scott got the pacing, score, visuals, cuts and dialogue right on the mark within that scene.

Well this might seem a little silly, not saying I didn't like anything else but this bit I really found great, the very start where the scenery shots are taken in Scotland, where the camera gets really close to the water, the 3D and the feeling of this quick shot was amazing. But yeah I liked plenty of others and I won't hog the scene :P

@ GigerFace 3.0 i loved that scene as well, those guys were great! @LordSoth i think most of those very first scenes were Iceland, but they are beautiful arent they? when we first meet Shaw and Holloway that part is in Scotland. both places are quite beautiful and yes they looked fantastic in 3d! i think my favourite scene is David watching and emulating Lawrence of Arabia. pretty much the whole film is excellent though, in my opinion.

I don't know if one more scene effected me more than another, but the Engineer assault on Weyland and company kind of opened my eyes. Weyland and David seemed so presumptuous about what they knew and what they thought they would find in the technology and in the engineer himself, almost to an arrogant level. They were almost like monologuing villians, exposing themselves and their plans because they were so sure that nothing could stop them. The "piloting" chair arising, and his navigating to Earth, it all seemed to come together, the engineers, if not all, then just the ones they've encountered, want to kill humans.

The best scenes are David on the ship by himself for 2 years. The movie goes downhill once everyone else comes out of cryosleep.

Dramatically i was touched only when holloway asked mrs. fickers to burn him down, and saying bye-bye to Shaw. Heartbreaking. Congretulation to Logan Marshal-Green and Shaw for that scene..

I'm not sure moved is the term i'm looking for but the most impressive scenes were the star map room in 3d this looked incredible. and the opening scene engineer standing by the waterfall in 3d was beautiful and exhilarating for me in 3d it was a sight to behold. the waterfall is Dettifoss iceland i believe.

I was also touched by holloway asking to be killed but the scene that moved me most was captain janek and his crews sacrifice for the good of all mankind it also stranded shaw and vickers another scene that i have to mention moved me alot was when shaw was contacted by david and he said he could fly another ship off of the planet those three scenes were the most moving for me but in my opinion the whole movie was great and moving but those three scenes were the most moving especially captain janek's sacrifice
