In trailer #2, at the 1:21 mark, when Dr. Holloway is in front of the Alien mural you can clearly see the ceremonial bowl from the opening scene of the movie which the engineer drinks from.
In the film though, as a bunch of people have stated, there is just a big green rock on the table.
Why would they change the film to show a big green rock instead of the bowl?
Why the difference?
